All boys and girls in the fourth grade and above who have received First Communion are eligible to serve. Typically, Altar Server training begins in the fall. Starting in September, announcements are placed in the bulletin and announcements are also made from the ambo.  In late September-early October, classes at CCD and Rev. Brown are visited and fliers distributed with registration forms attached to all the children. Their teachers collect the responses, and those who have registered begin training usually starting in mid-October. All registration and training is completed before Thanksgiving so the new servers can serve during Advent.
